After walking into nearly every Chocolaterie in Venise in a vain attempt to find the hot chocolate to the gods... “Cioccolata Calda”. Pronounced cho-ko-LAH-tah KAHL-dah.

We found VizioVirtù Cioccolateria that sells and serves it.
This Chocolaterie made the chocolates that were in the film Chocolat.

Travel Details.
We took Air France to Marco Polo air port in Venice. From the airport we used Alilaguna water bus which is a 50 min trip into Venice.
We stayed in a rented appartment run by a French company. Destinations locappart was the most cost effective way of staying in Venice.

We were absolutely delighted when meeting Sergio Boldrin the eldest Boldrin Brother.
The brothers were one of the two mask makers in Venice chosen to create the masks for Stanley Kubrick 's last film Eyes wide shut.

We stumbled upon The Gallery Ca' Rezzonico located in a gothic Palazzo Contarini Michiel on the Gran Canal in front the Ca' Rezzonico Vaporetto stop. Here a photo of Nostalgia 2 by the sculptor Pietro Giuseppe Tito.
